(Well - the ebook will be a virtual 'box' and the print version of the collection will be the three volumes in a single 400+ page book so you'd have to image that there was an actual box :D)
Usually I like to do this closer to release - but it turns out I can't wait, so here's the cover art to the next part of Never's quest, River God :)
Thanks to Lin for another awesome painting and to Vivid Covers for the ace typeset :)
I've also put a draft of chapter 1 up for River God, available to read right here.
Stay tuned for an announcement re: the River God Giveaways, where I'll be offering 5 ebooks of River God, 1 ebook collection of volumes 1,2 & 3 plus 1 copy of the print edition of volumes 1-3 (all due for release on the 1st of July.)
It's been a while since I've written a general update so I thought I'd better post one!
Some of you have asked me about Greatmask and I regret to say that while we're probably still on track for a 2016 release it might not be August as originally planned. I hate to give such news but the more time I put into the story the better - it still needs work and a bit of expanding, which is kind of exciting for me actually. Confident that the changes will make the story better and that you'll enjoy it more, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, Never #3 (River God) is on track, as is the print collection of books 1-3, both due for release July 1st. I have one more edit to complete and then proofing and production :) There's also a prequel story lurking on the horizon too, perhaps only a short story but still something which I hope is a lot of fun.
In other news, a sequel for A Whisper of Leaves is in planning stage, along with Fallow-Man, which will be my first title set in the US and that means I must lift the research levels once again!
The Moss Dragon of Brittlekeep is also chugging along with about 5 chapters complete and I'm especially excited to share that one when it's ready :)
Thanks for reading!
Another snippet of the 'all zeppelin songs ranked' list I want to finish one day - here's another small write up for one of their songs:
Travelling Riverside Blues
Possibly the best Led Zeppelin song not to appear on an LP I reckon. Not exactly a cover of the Robert Johnson song, but a clear nod to him, especially with the lyrical content. In other places this sort of re-interpretation would land Led Zeppelin in hot water (as they are now, I suppose) but what I notice most about this song is probably Bonham.
A Forest of Eyes (Book of Never 2) is now available worldwide :)
Below is a universal link for Amazon, which ought to take you directly to the store relevant to your region. River God (Book 3) is now just less than two months away and The Amber Isle (Book 1) is just over two months old :)
If you're new to the series, I've got Book 1 on special for $1 at the moment - same as the launch-week price for A Forest of Eyes.
However, for the first week of May, you can also win a prize pack featuring both ebooks simply by sharing either cover image on twitter and tagging me (so I know you've shared :) )
Alternatively, if you'd like to sign up to my newsletter you will receive a copy of The Amber Isle upon doing so.
(You can also purchase A Forest of Eyes from Kobo or Barnes & Noble or Collins the Booksellers.)
Hope you enjoy Never's next adventure :)
